Follicles harvested with FUE are loaded into implanter pens (“Choi” pens). Site preparation and transfer then happen in the same moment, without a separate channel-opening stage.
Highlights
- Channel opening and placement in a single step
- Grafts spend less time outside the body
- Well suited to implanting between existing hairs
- Appropriate for dense-packing plans
Relation to Sapphire FUE
Sapphire channels and DHI are complementary rather than competing techniques. In some plans the front hairline is done with DHI while the rear areas use sapphire channels.
